Study Abroad this Summer!
Are you planning anything exciting for this summer? As an NKU student, you have the opportunity to take your learning outside of the classroom. Consider studying abroad! Students have the opportunity to travel to exciting and exotic locations while earning college credit. CCSA offers courses to English speaking countries such as Australia, Belize, Canada, Ghana, Ireland, Jamaica, and Scotland. KIIS offers courses to non-English speaking countries such as Germany, China, Greece, Italy, Japan, France, Spain and many more! Knowledge of the language is not necessary for most of the programs. Programs range in length from two to five weeks, depending on location. Consider doing something exciting and different with your education while having the experience of a liftetime! Financial aid and scholarships are available!
Study Abroad this Fall!
Looking for a longer study abroad experience? Participate in an Academic Exchange with one of our partner universities. Study for one semester or one year. Earn a semester's worth of college credit while living abroad. Click here for more information. Application deadline for the Fall Semester is February 15, 2010.
IMPORTANT UPDATES
Deadline for Summer Programs is approaching!
If you are interested in summer programs, application deadlines are quickly approaching. If you are interested in study abroad programs through KIIS, the deadline is February 15th.
If you are interested in summer programs through CCSA, the deadline is February 28th. For more information on these programs visit the KIIS information website or the CCSA information website.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT INCREASED!
The International Study Scholarship amount as been increased to $3,000. Students have the potential to earn up to this amount or half the cost of the trip, which ever is less, based on financial need. A current FAFSA needs to be on file with the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
In addition, the student tenure has also been increased. Students who have already earned the max amount of $2,000 are now eligible to earn an additional $1,000 toward a study abroad program. Contact the Office of Education Abroad for more information!
The Office of Education Abroad is now accepting scholarship applications for Summer 2010 international study abroad programs. Scholarship applications can be turned in to UC 415. It is recommended that students turn in applications as soon as possible in order to receive priority consideration for the scholarship.
