Study Abroad Teaching Opportunities

NKU Independent Short-Term Study Abroad Programs

The Office of Education Abroad works with faculty members interested in designing and leading short-term study abroad programs.  Study Abroad Trip Programmer Michelle Melish works directly with program leaders to coordinate the logicstics of each trip. Many of the NKU short-term programs arranged take place over Spring Break or the May intercession, but OEA is happy to work with faculty to plan a study abroad trip during anytime in the academic year.  To learn how you can propose to lead an NKU independent short-term study abroad program, click here.

Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA)

CCSA is a 24-member consortium of colleges and universities that offers mostly short-term study abroad programs during the winter and summer break, in addition to some internships and semester programs, to English-speaking regions of the world. To learn how you can propose to teach a course through CCSA, click here.

OEA Class Visits

The Office of Education Abroad is always happy to give presentations to any NKU class regarding study abroad. Our standard presentation is usually 20 minutes long with additional time for Q&A. If preferable, presentations can be longer and/or include a visit from a past study abroad participant.

Please contact Anne Perry  or Beth Lorenz to schedule a presentation for your class.
